How to promote your website via Article Submission

Visitors attracts for Good content. Excellent content makes them come back for their interest. But whether good or excellent, if the content is submitted in the right web directory for sites and articles, visitors will become residents of your sites.
This is clear what every webmaster or blogger hopes for. It is like a dream they have always wanted. Reaching this is not that elusive after all, some people already succeeded in doing that, only because they know what and where to submit that.
Articles are supposed to be read by visitors. That is the very important for nature of why it was written anyway. But people need a niche or venue to read that articles, just as how you can expect people to drink their coffee of a pail, so it is the case in article reading. People read and find your content in your websites and also in your article directories.
Somebody says that fresh tomatoes will also get rotten if located in a basket of rotten tomatoes holds true in article submission. If you submit your articles in article directories, that don't protect quality of submission, there is a great chance that your effort of love will be into garbage. Mixing your sole article with duplicate and copied content will cause to be your content and the links in it worthless. The same is true with badly written and ill-conceptualized articles.
There are a lot factors that one needs to consider in choosing the right article submission sites. One must identify how the site filters the bad and good articles to the side, how they classify or group each article and how they promote their websites - to know these can give you an idea if yours submission will benefit you and for your website.
On internet, there are a large number of article and directory submission sites. Daily new sites come in the market and its number grows every day. Its multiply almost as speedy as the articles and web pages that need submission. But not all of them are importance your time and your article. Some of them are even after your content for their sole and personal achieve. To describing this would like have a foolish librarian who would keep books and mass them of a dusty cabinet, lock all them, rendering each book useless as garbage.
That are the kind of article directories that you should avoid, very far from the trusted article directories like Worldwide Directory. If article directory can be compared to libraries, that would the library in top university of your country.
So, we are introducing new SEO services for all type of submission like Article submission, Press Release submission, RSS Submission and social Bookmarking etc.

Search Engine: Can You Live Without It?

A search engine is a software program that lets you find information on the web. With literally trillions of pages on the Internet, finding information is next to impossible without this great tool.
There are variations as to how search engines perform searches but basically they do the same tasks - they search pages on the internet based on important words, they keep in their own database the information they find and where they find them, and they allow users like you and me to look for words or phrases in their index.
Search engines have special software robots called spiders that crawls or visits trillions of pages on the Internet on a regular basis. Some search engines do this every day, some others every week, and still others once a month. It depends on how many spiders they have constantly crawling. Another program called indexer reads web pages, indexes their information, and follows the site's links to other web pages.
Once the spiders have completed the task of finding information on web pages, the search engine must store the information in a way that makes it useful. Search engines store not just the word and the web address where it was found, but it might also store how frequent the word appeared on the page. It also assign a weight for each entry depending on the location within the page the word is found. Different search engines have different algorithms in determining weight for words in its index. This is one of the reasons why you will get different results for the same word on different search engines.
Every time a user requests a search based on a word or phrase, the search engine searches its index for relevant information. The software then gives the result back to the searcher according to how relevant a web page is in relation to the search.
How important a search engine is? It has been said that the average person living today is exposed to as many different pieces of information in a single day as a person living 100 years ago would have seen in a year. With this information overload, it is next to impossible to remember and retrieve all these information. This is where a search engine comes in handy. Search engines allow users to quickly and easily find information on the web that is of value to them. With search engines, users are saved from the headache of sorting through irrelevant web pages to get the information they really need.
Web site owners would definitely want to bring their site to as many people as possible. This could not be achieved without them taking into consideration the power of the search engines to do just that. Search engines attract more targeted visitors to the website which could help site owners establish their online presence.
In an online world, a search engine is essential and it is one of the things people cannot live without.

The Advantages to Seeking Out, Using and Sharing Niche Search Engines

There's only one way to find anything on the Internet and that's Google. Google delivers the best results. And you always find exactly what you're looking for with Google. Don't you?
If I try a search for private schools in my area (Toronto) the results page highlights a Google map pinpointing a wealth of local choices. When I click on the link for 'more results' I end up with a list of many results (nearly 200, in fact).
But how do I find a private school that has the programs just right for my children? I have a tuition range in mind, I'm interested in Advanced Placement, and I want a school specializing in Journalism. That's a variety of queries Big G is not likely to understand. How about some other search cases? Product search: say I'm looking for a very specific car part by year, model and model number. Do you recommend I use Google? Services: say I want to find a seniors' home for my mother and it has to feature a specific kind of care while meeting our budget. Are you sure Google can help me with that?
Proprietary search engines come with pre-sorted data. A proprietary search engine allows service providers, organizations and manufacturers to input and manage specific data. Niche proprietary search engines are ignored by the search marketing industry and their value is under-promoted to consumers.
Consumers and marketers should go out of their way to find and promote niche search engines that serve niche needs much better than big old Google could.

What else is wrong with Google?
Google inevitably serves results that are optimized. Providers with the budget and tech savvy hire search engine optimization (SEO) firms to make sure they show up higher in Google results. A small private school without the budget or savvy may not even show up in the results. Why? Well, they're too busy teaching - and managing their budget.
Other factors skew Google results. If a school has an older domain name they are more likely to end up higher in search results. Does the age of their domain mean the school is better? According to Google, yes. On the whole, is any organization's ability to show up in Google results a reflection of the quality of its products or services? Of course it isn't.
Niche search engines allow users to focus on the exact subject and results they want to focus on. For example, a proprietary search engine can offer the user pre-population of terms that actually help the user narrow his or her search with terms they may not know or have thought of. And older data is not given preference for any reason.
When searching for a seniors' home for my mother, I might have to do hours of research to learn all the terminology. Unless I used a search engine designed just for retirement homes. Thankfully, they are out there.
Proprietary search engine such as those at comfortlife.ca, ourkids.net or car-part.com are less well known but nonetheless far more helpful than using Google. Will Google ever offer specific search engines with criteria for each industry? That's a tall order. We see nothing in Google Labs, either, unless you count the very restricted Ride Finder.
Niche search engines allow websites and users to crack Google's monopoly on search, simply by virtue of their specialization in the subject matter. Look for them and tell your friends when you find one!

With the search engines evolving each and every day, it's absolutely critical to not fall into the trap of following the latest and greatest craze for ranking highly in the search engines. Things such as cloaking, keyword stuffing, blog spamming etc. are things that worked at one time, but are definitely not something that will last in the long run. The method I'm referring to is article submission. Article submission really isn't anything shockingly new, but the problem up until now has been the fact that although submitting your articles to article directories was an incredible way to increase your search engine rankings, it took one heck of a long time to actually find these directories, and then fill in all of the required information for submission.

There is a brand new, free software program created by Brad Callen and Bryxen Software, Inc. This software allows you to submit your articles to literally hundreds of popular article directories all over the world. A few clicks of the mouse and you're instantly able to submit your articles. It's taken the tedious process of finding and filling out these submission forms, incredibly easy and fast.

Is Google Slapping You?

These days, Google slapping has been quite prevalent in the online advertising arena. Many websites have been affected by the Google slap, where Adword bid prices suddenly jumped a few cents a click to a few dollars a click. The types of websites that have been most affected by the Google slap our sites such as affiliate websites, single page sales copy sites, landing sites, and most of all, Adsense webpages.

Because Google is such a large search engine and monopoly, it may sometimes be difficult to understand. Nonetheless there is a way to correct a slap, if you have been affected.

Google has reported multiple complaints from advertisers regarding advertising difficulties, and this is the main reason for the Google slap implementation. Apparently, Adsense websites, one-page sales copy websites, and landing sites are the culprits to this problem; such websites currently have way too many advertisements and are driving up costs for other quality content websites.

One of the things that you can do to improve your Google advertisement reputation is to ensure that all of your sponsored advertisements are completely segregated from your main website content. If you are like most of those Adsense, or affiliate websites, you typically merge or highly relate your main website content with your sponsored advertisements. However, Google is now requiring advertisers to segregate advertisements and their main content. Simply put, the best solution is to produce some very high quality and relevant content on your website. Once you accomplish this, simply place all your keywords that you are targeting in Google advertisements into the title and header.

This simple method will help you evade the Google slap, so you can continue to do business.

Tips to Increase Website Traffic

The best and most cost effective way to increase your website traffic has to be SEO (search engine optimisation). However, there are many other ways to help increase traffic. Here is a list of just a few ways that you can get more visits to your website. There are many other ways out there. However, here are some of the most common.

Forums

The use of forums can help get you some good traffic as some forums let you put your links at the bottom of your comments. Be warned though just joining a forum just for these purposes will see you quickly banned. You must make a contribution to the forum and not just add comment so your links appear. Try adding some value to the forum, try sharing some of your knowledge or answer some question that people have posted.

Blogs

Blogs are very similar to forums but you don’t get to put your links in. Whatever you use as your name will be hyperlinked back to your website. You may think it’s a good idea to stick a keyphrase in there; well a lot of blogs these days put a nofollow tag on their posts. This instructed the search engines not to follow the links, which won’t help your SEO efforts. However, this should not be your reason for posting .You should be posting a valid comment, if you don’t it’s just considered as spam and it will be removed.

Directories

Many people write about how good directories are for getting traffic. However, these days for the most part this isn’t true. There are a few gems out there that if you submit to them will reward you with extra traffic, the most part though directories are best utilised for SEO purposes.

Social bookmarking Sites

These sites can be an excellent way to increase hits, with sites like StumbleUpon and Dig, if used properly can see great increase in your traffic. This technique does need time spent on it and you need to submit quality information to them.

If you need to increase website traffic I would certainly give this company a look as they know all about increasing traffic and only follow ethical SEO techniques.

The thing I find with these things is if you’re prepared to give something you will get something back. If you website doesn’t have nothing of value on it then you don’t deserve traffic, simple as that.

To be found, you need to say something

Here's the reality: people search with words that make sense to them. For most people, that means plain, short, common words, not the oblique marketing speak so prevalent on the Web.

Too many corporate sites (and the technology sector is by far the most consistent offender) feature marketing messages so pregnant with buzzwords, made-up phrases, and convoluted clauses that it's questionable whether the original writer has any clue what he was trying to communicate.

The company that speaks in everyday vernacular will simply appeal to a wider customer base. For instance, people will not type "integrated premises-based ECM solution" into a search engine. So if your site says that, you are missing a disproportionately large segment of your target audience. Someone might type in "content management for accounts payable." Maybe. More likely, that person will search for "software to organize invoices," and then find the company that solves this problem without talking about all of that ECM mumbo jumbo.

Search is already playing a significant role in our online experience. As the Web becomes more cumbersome and competition thickens, the increasing influence of search engines will continue to define how content is organized, parsed, and delivered. In the end, plain language will be a decisive advantage. Not only because your website will appear more often in search rankings, but also because readers can understand your message when they visit your domain.

People will always recommend products and services they understand, never ones they don't. No world leader ever gained power by speaking above his followers, and no songwriter ever hit stardom for not making sense (except Bob Dylan, but even he made sense some of the time). People will consume and pass along messages they grasp and relate to-like a website their moms can use to buy environmentally friendly detergent. Writing better copy for the Web

If there's one axiom of global commerce, it's that companies that cannot be understood lose business. Ask any English-speaking businessperson traveling to France, Saudi Arabia, or Japan; most figured out long ago that learning the native language was a significant competitive advantage. On the Web, the axiom still applies. There is simply no point is throwing mud into the water of language. Obfuscation kills communication.

The goal of your domain should be to open a dialog with a customer, prospect, or investor, not intimidate them. This requires communicating in plain language, not hiding behind opaque words, and is best accomplished by avoiding corporate speak and writing for your target audience. Avoiding corporate speak

Imagine walking into a pastry shop, asking for a Boston cream doughnut, and getting the following response from the shopkeeper: "That particular confection, with its falsely historical nomenclature of alternate-dessert elements and synergistic relationship with first light beverages, presents a best-of-breed banquet that yields sweet savor from the first morsel of brunette icing to the last swallow of golden cream. It is also currently out of stock, but we've leveraged our advanced dessert replacement solutions to replenish the inventory."

You would probably leave. As you walked down the street looking for a Dunkin' Donuts, you'd wonder how that bakery ever stayed in business. Visiting any number of corporate sites on the Web, you could easily wonder the same thing. Here are three fictional examples of typical corporate speak:

Example 1: "Although our software can be premises-based or deployed as a fully hosted solution, we allow companies to automate and streamline processes, progress organizational efficiency, and concentrate on governance and compliance through the direct management and explicit control of content."

Example 2: "A person-centric architecture is at the core of our products. Whether implemented into an enterprise system or interfaced as a particularized solution, our laboratory software offers unparalleled functional competence."

Example 3: "Leverage the power of ever-increasing interconnected media channels by inspecting them through a marketing lens. This integrative archetype affords businesses a new context proven for retooling marketers to rethink clients working in a rewired market."

Search Engine Marketing Made Simple

There are three main ways that visitors find your Web site-- by search engines, clicking on your link from other sites, and typing your Web address. Search engines are an essential part of your Internet marketing mix. But search engine marketing alone is not enough.

As you already know from experience, a site that does not appear on the first page of results is practically invisible. Rather than try to achieve ranking on all search engines for the most popular keywords, put a reasonable level of effort into search engine marketing and allow time for other online methods as well. It's best to optimize your site for keyword phrases that match your market niche on search engines.

The Top Search Engines Online

There are only three search engines that drive most of the traffic to sites-- Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. These main search engines also generate the results seen on all primary search engines. You need to submit to those three, plus dmoz (Open Directory Project), and Web directories that relate to your Web site's subject. Keep in mind also that Google is responsible for about 50% of all searches online.

Search Engine Listing

Ignore any emails promising to list your site on hundreds or even thousands of search engines and directories. There aren't even thousands of English search engines to begin with. You may end up harming your stand with search engines if they mistake your efforts for spam.

Search Engine Optimization

Disregard any emails guaranteed #1 placement on search engine rankings. No legitimate search engine optimization (SEO) company can make such claims. Most of these sites don't even have high ranking themselves! It's always best to generate a #1 ranking on keywords that are rarely used or phrases that match your site's market niche.

Top 10 Myths About Google Search Engine

  • Myth No. 10: Google penalize you if you are bound by a link farm
  • While Google has stated that you can not be penalized because of something that is not in your direct control, they have systems in place to determine if you are involved in programmes that are against their TOC.

  • Myth No. 9: Google will not list your site, or penalize it, if you use Popups
  • Google does not consider pop-ups as a matter of indexing. However, if the popups are violent, you can be deindexed manually.

  • Myth No. 8: Google will not index dynamic pages
  • Google has indexed dynamic content all the time, the issue is, should it properly indexed, and it is the responsibility of the webmaster, not Google.

  • Myth No. 7: Google Analytics is used to track your user behavior for future products with Google
  • The data are not used by Google for conditions of use. There is no real value for Google to analyze this information.

  • Myth No. 6: Being listed in the Open Directory Project (ODP) gives you a "special" bonus of PageRank
  • There is not a special bonus, you get PageRank of the ODP the same as you would from any another site.

  • Myth No. 5: Being listed in Yahoo! Give you a "special" bonus of PageRank
  • Similar with No. 6. There is no bonus given.

  • Myth No. 4: the search for the links on Google using "link:" you show all your backlinks
  • Google only shows you a few links they know. They have publicly stated that the links they show you may not all be taken into account for PR. Instead, Yahoo! or MSN as a gauge link to your progress.

  • Myth No. 3: PageRank is a value based on the number of links to your site
  • There is more to do with the quality of links coming into your site.

  • Myth No. 2: The Google Toolbar List your factual PageRank
  • The toolbar displays PageRank and backlinks information that is usually 3 to 5 months old.

  • Myth No. 1: the higher your Google PageRank (PR), the higher you'll be in the search engine results pages (SERPs)
  • PR has nothing to do with the ranking of web pages, but it has to do with the level of authority and how many times a page will be reindexed. Higher PageRank pages simply tend to be more often reindexed.

SEO and Pay Per Click Downward Economy Tips

Many marketing managers have found the first half of 2008 has been nerve wrenching. Turn on the television, radio or open a newspaper and you'll see that consumer confidence is down, inflation is creeping in and overall confidence in the economy is reaching historical lows.

It is not your fault the market is in its current condition. How could you have forecasted these figures when you submitted your budget last year? Reaching sales goals that were established in an optimistic economy is probably more obtainable than in a downward economy.

You can not control the macro factors of the economy, but as a professional it's your job to find ways obtain your committed numbers. Before you start waving the white flag, consider these handy search engine marketing steps you can implement.

    Determine Seasonality:
Each company tends to have a unique season. For retail, its Q4 where consumer accounting services is Q1. Tourism peaks in the summer months of Q3. Consider your industry, your company and the brand(s) you are responsible for. What is your busy season? How do you define your busy season? Do you define it by an increase in revenue, an increase in transactions or both?

Many managers are finding awkward meetings with senior management based around decreased financial performance. How can you quantitatively explain a decrease in financial performance year over year, or against your sales plan.

If you can't justify performance, outside of kindly asking senior management to turn on the television and look at the various news stories about the downward economy, what can you do?

There are various programs that can help you determine seasonality. Unfortunately not all programs will provide current seasonality (including paid services). You may find the closest seasonality trends you can obtain will focus around the previous calendar year (example January 2007 - December 2007).

Applying Seasonality to Pay Per Click:
If you haven't paid attention to pay per click seasonality trending in the past, now you understand the importance. To further stretch your budget in a downward economy think of the application of your pay per click resources. Why distribute your ad spend in perfect twelfths across the course of a year when you know you have a few months that are particularly busy.

To be better prepared for this busy period consider the length of your sales cycle. Shift resources to strong performing keywords at the beginning of the sales cycle. For example if you find your busy season is October and November and you have a 60 day sales cycle, be prepared to increase your ad spend in August. This means your ads and a revised strategy should be ready no later than mid-July.

    Determine Online Trends:
Determining online trending of web traffic is difficult. On the surface this seems like it should be as easy as counting inventory on a supermarket shelf. Senior managers, especially with a finance background tend to have a difficult time with online marketing efforts at times because of a lack of measurement in some areas. These professionals are correct to criticize. Getting industry-wide information that is dependable and updated to the present day is not easy.

Some qualitative measurements can be obtained, but reliable industry-wide quantitative statistics are not always available. This is because search engines do not make this information public and other available tools typically rely on sampling, i.e. the validity can be speculated and the information is not absolute (what senior managers are depending on).

Senior management and the marketing managers are going to need to take a leap of faith in some areas here. Past experiences and instincts will need to be considered along with various trending reports.

Reach Out to an SEO firm:
In a downward economy an SEO firm seems like the last area you would want to reach out to. Spending more money is sometimes the last thing a firm wants to consider when in a downward economy and facing inevitable decreased financial performance. For example, a good Atlanta search engine optimization agency will walk you through a series of exercises. You'll want to determine your cost to acquire a new customer and spend accordingly. Also, you'll want to ensure your 'call to action' steps are well defined and pages such as 'contact us' pages are designed for customer usability.

Optimizing your campaign can help you gain market share during a downward economy. While this might not be as glamorous as meeting and exceeding sales forecasts, this is a long term strategy. If you are able to gain market share while the economy is cold, you will be minimizing your loses during this time and positioning yourself to be in a stronger position when the economy turns around.

    SEO Friendly URLs

As a URL is a very important part of a website it is a good way to make it SEO friendly. This will give your website a boost in rankings in the natural search engine results, thus, giving you many potential visitors to your website.

There are a couple of things to remember when building SEO friendly URLs:

    1. Placement of your desired keyword in your URL will increase your ranking, so it may be wise to consider NOT changing your existing URL. Unless you can somehow redirect your URL if it is indeed changed, make it a point to use it for a long time. This is because a change URL may result in broken link and that would greatly decrease you ranking, especially if one of your pages is ranking well in the search engines.

    2. Keywords in the URL in itself will not guarantee you great ranking but it will enhance your chances. A webpage with the keyword in it’s URL will definitely outrank a web page without it, and as a result will potentially get more visits.

    Keyword in the Sub domain

Before people abuse this idea, search engines puts good ranking on web sites which have keywords in their sub-domains, thinking that such websites have a strong correlation between keywords in the sub domain and it’s contents, though this is no longer the case, it is still a very good idea to place one on your sub-domain. One of the good reason to do this is that, most of the time, sub-domains give a viewer a general idea on what to expect on a website as to what is its content is. Having your keyword in your URL may also result in it, showing up n the anchor text if someone links your website using your URL

SEO friendly URL’s sub domain will always be relevant as to what the website is all about. It will and must include a number of pages in relating to what the keyword themed sub-domain is all about. It is also a good idea that such pages are of unique quality to avoid spam.

    Keyword in the Domain

URLs heart and soul is in its essence your domain, thus placing keywords, especially your main one will be very ideal. It will greatly enhance your rankings especially if your domain includes the word or phrase that a web-surfer is the one he is looking for. SEO friendly URL will most of the time then include the keyword in is domain name or if this cant be done will include other important keywords in your domain if it is not possible to use your main one.

Hyphenating keywords in your domain name is another thing one should consider. Not long ago hyphenated keywords did give advantage in rankings, but as of this time, it does not matter anymore, the main point is that you may want to secure the hyphenated version of your URL to secure it so that other people may not use it.

    Keyword in Subdirectory/file name

If somehow the keyword cannot be listed in the domain or in the sub domain, put it in the sub-directory. Of course a sub-directory, will be containing relevant pages or things connected to your keyword named sub-directory, if it is just a single page then it is better to use it as a file name. SEO friendly URL will use keywords located in sub-directory or file name as it will enhance your ranking, however, they must be used in either sub-directory or file name. Using it in both sub-directory and file name will result in a spam and will instead decrease your status.

How to design a search engine friendly website

One of the first questions you should ask for Search Engine Optimization is how to design a search engine friendly website. A website that is shall we say as non-friendly to search engines will lose potential traffic thus reducing visitors surfing their sites, and as far as we know such decrease in website activity will result in loss of potential sales from a potential consumer if you gear your site for selling things in the market. That is why it is also very important to build a search engine friendly website.

Now in doing such thing there quite a few things you should consider. In the book "Winning the Search Engine Wars" by SearchEngineNews.com, they list 6 things to consider in how to build a search engine friendly website, they are:

    * Use of valid HTML and CSS codes * Avoiding as much as possible the use of Flash, Javascript, and frames * URLs should be properly used * Well and organized website and directory structure * Keep your pages as limited as possible * Proper use of what is called the "robots.txt" file

    HTML and CSS codes

Web pages should at the very least meet the requirements of or should be in accordance with W3C guidelines. That would mean that you should close all tags which need to be closed, as well as avoiding the use of source code in which will confuse the search engine spider (yes, avoid the use of old source codes), so that your web page can be spidered and cached properly by the search engines. In order to achieve this, the code must meet the minimum requirements of functionality and successful display.

    Flash, Javascript, and frames

Now we all know that the use of these things will be an eye-candy, or will be very pleasing to look at, thus making your site very attractive. In the other side too much use of these things will slow the computer, it will just take too long to download your website, and, as most people tend to make most of everything especially time. They just tend to cancel the page and go back to surf another site. So to build a search engine friendly website, one must avoid the use of Flash, Javascript and frames, or if it is really needed, to limit the use of it.

    URL

Another important thing to consider in building a search engine friendly website are the URLs. Search engine spiders find and process webpages by following links from one site to another, so consider building in which they can be easily followed. Broken links as others think will degrade your rank in search results.

    Accessibility

Consider also the use of site maps in which to organize your websites. If a page is too far deep which means the viewer has to click a few pages to open it, the search engine will have a harder time of indexing it. Thus a well and organized web structure will ensure that the search engines will process all pages in your site.

    File Size

File size also plays a major role in building a search engine friendly website. File size with more than 100k (or 150k, depending on the search engine) will not be properly cached, so that would mean you may not appear on those search results. So the best way to overcome this is to limit the file size of your website to 100k.

    Robot.txt

The robot.txt file is another important thing to consider as this file tells the search engine whether or not to index a page from your website. Search engine spiders process things in a limited capacity. Robot.txt helps these spiders to direct their searches for the things that you really wish for the viewer to see on your pages.

Make your site on the top of the list

In a searcher, once he put the keywords in the search engine, and generated a list of relevant sites, he would only check the first pages of the list and browse through the generated web pages. Thus, most people would want that their website be placed on the first page of the search engine results page.

A website should be able to have certain qualities so that it will be included in the first page of the search engine list. Since most people will only check the first page, especially when they already got the needed topic, then other sites would be less visited. Thus, you must be able to organize and design your website in such a way that it would have a better rank in the website.

Knowing the rules of SEO will help you reach a better rank in the search engine list. Thus, you must know the rules very well and apply it to your website.

There are two ways in which a website can be indexed in a search engine. One of the ways would be to use of directories, or through search engines. With the directories, you must submit the specifics and other important details to the search engine and it will be properly indexed. The ranking will depend on the relevance of your website. Thus, the contents should be properly completed so that it will have a higher rank.

With search engines, your site can be listed even if you do not submit you website. The spider of the search engine will automatically crawl to new and old websites and it will list all of them. When a person inputs keywords, the search engine will crawl into the sites and get the relevant sites that contain the input keywords.

To make more people interested in your website, it must be appealing to them and not straining to their eyes. The designs should not be too complicated as it would only make search engine have a more difficult time searching for the keywords, thus, your site may have a poor ranking in the result list.

Another way to make a website belong to the top sites in the results pages is to have the right keywords in your articles and in your site. Thus, you should know what keywords must be used. These keywords should be the ones that would probably be used by the searchers. The competition for the traffic in websites is high so you must be very well in planning the keywords that you will use and how you will put them in your website.

When you already understand all of the rules in search engines, you can use this knowledge to be able to make your website on the top of the search results. You must input these rules in your website to achieve the result. It is still possible to get your website be listed on the first page of the results from the search engines when you are careful with following the rules. A better visibility is important since it would mean more chances for visitors to your website and an even more possible income generated through the website.

Being creative and technical in SEO

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a process wherein a website and its contents are designed in such a way that it will rank higher in the search page. It is primarily used so that the website will have more people visiting their web pages.

As it is a process, technical matters of the search engine must be understood. There are already millions of web pages in the Internet and anyone can already have his own website. Thus, the searchers will need to filter for the relevant sites out of the millions that would best cater to his needs. Hence, an individual uses the search engine where he will input the keywords for his search. And the search engine will come up with a list that will give him the relevant sites for his search. With SEO, the website will be placed at higher ranks.

Therefore, it also means that the website will have a better chance to get more visitors as most searchers would only browse the sites that are located at the first pages of their search.

Accordingly, the technical aspects of SEO also encompasses that the keywords should be planned so that the site will have a better rank compared to its competing sites. Also, the keyword marketing and its proper use must all be understood by the person so that his sites will benefit from SEO. A higher traffic in a website would mean higher sales. Thus, to make your website reach out to more people, you must learn how to make use of the right keywords and make SEO a tool for your better sales.

Aside from the technical matters that must be considered, one should not be limited with what is already known. It is a process but to get maximum benefit, you must be creative in determining the keywords that are commonly used by the searching public. The keywords that are used everyday are changing. Thus, you must be able to adapt with it and be creative in thinking on the keywords that you will use. There is no keyword that is so accurate in determining what the people might be using. To make your site have a higher rank in the search pages, you must think of a creative keyword that will be used by the public. It must be creative since it should not be what your competing websites are using.

With the use of SEO, a person can have a better traffic in his site. Also, the public will be able to search for the right web pages that contain the more relevant articles if the sites have a higher ranking in search pages. A balance of technical knowledge of SEO mixed with the creativity to have the keywords that can bend with the needs of the searchers would make a site's better visibility in search engines.

Search engine optimization with Directory submission

Internet business trend changes the traditional business direction in a new way. Today's era of internet business is giving more challenges to survive in the market. So having a search engine visibility and high search engine ranking is absolutely necessary for every websites. You can get competitive advantages of high page ranking to reap more and more business trough your website.

Before few years back directory is crawled by individual search users but time goes on and search engine came in to exist. Directory loss some popularity to individual search users and search engine become more popular but still some good directory crawled by individual search user like, DMOZ and Yahoo directory. Directory loss user but not their creditability because directory is human editing service and search engine use automatic software to update their data base, so directory will approve the site after checking the credibility of website, it means site approved by directory have some credit so search engine crawled to directory to update their data base and site get back link from that directory.

Google uses spider technique to crawled the website and update their data bases. More or less same technique is used by many search engine but they slightly change their update criteria and based on that they differentiate their search results from other search engines.

Link supports of your website play a significant role to secure high page rank in major search engines. The process to get more inbound link, you spend lots of time for searching the website related to your site and send request for inbound link from their site and at the end you may not get the result so your effort get waste and can not get desired result. The easy and good method to get inbound link is directory submission.

Directory submission is good method of search engine optimization which diverts more traffic to your website and builds your link popularity. When search engine crawled the directory and it pointed your site, you get back link (inbound link). If your site listed on hundreds of good directory and they pointed to your site then you get credibility and improve the organic page rank in search engines.

When you get approved by directory then it is life time back link and no need to submit again in future, only some directories give short time listing, otherwise most of the directory gives life time back link. Thousands of directories offer free submission service so no need to spend much more money but you just require submission to proper category in the directory. If you are not submitting in proper category then your site will not approve by the directory editors so you have to follow the directory submission guideline of every directory.

Promote Web Site with Reciprocal Links

    What's Reciprocal Links
A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two objects, commonly between two websites to ensure mutual traffic. Since the inbound like is a very important factors when the search engines decide the ranking of web site both in value and search result, a lot of webmaster use reciprocal link to get some inbound links. So, won't be surprised when seeing a "partners" or "resources" page of the web site , in which there are full of links.

There is a very special type of reciprocal link called as "3-ways-linking" or "multi-ways-linking", which works as "Site A" links to "Site B", "Site B" link to "Site C" and "Site C" links to "Site A".

    How to Get Receiprocal Links
To get a receiprocal links is vrey simple and below are 2 very common methods

  • Join the link exchange web sites, and request the reciprocal link with some other web sites. There are many very famous link exchagnes web site you can leverage, such as build-reciprocal-links.com etc. Those web sites will also give you a functional to check whether your link has really been put in the other web site.
  • Second ways is to add a "Link Exchange" page in their own web sites, for those who have a visit to their web site, and have interests in the content of the web site, can request a link exchange, and build up a reciprocal links. Some web sites even build up a web site directory to store the web site they have reciprocal links with.
  • Is Reciprocal Linking Still Effective
2 Sites reciprocal linking is no longer effective and can actually accrue penalties toward your website(s.) Google and other SE's can very easily find these pages and discount them. But, that doesn't mean all reciprocal linking is ineffective!

Google states on their "link schemes" page that "Excessive reciprocal links or excessive link exchanging ("Link to me and I'll link to you.")" is in violation of their Webmaster guidelines. Notice the word "excessive" being used twice in there.

This means that selective link exchanges between quality sites is not against their guidelines and and it still works! But if you have many web sites, please do avoid the methods like "Site A" point to "Site B", "Site C", "Site D", and "Site B" point to "Site A", "Site C", "Site D", etc. This will be very easily captured by Google and treated as "Excessive reciprocal lnks".

What's the Most Effective Ways to Get High Quality Reciprocal Links
There are 2 ways you can use:

  • The first methods is to use 3-ways-linking or multi-ways-linking described in above, and it's hard to be found by Google. If you have multiple web site, this is definitely the way you should use.
  • The second way is contextual link exchange. The word here is a little bit new. Let's me describe a little bit here. Instead of simply putting a link to the other web site, you can put the link within the article you have written for your web site. Links that appear within content are much more "natural" looking than sidebar and footer links. What's more, Google like contextual.
  • Successful Factors for Reciprocal Links
So, how to make sure a successful reciprocal links compaigns when promoting a web site, below are some factors you should pay attention to:

  • Only exchanging the link with the relevant web site. If your sites is talking about web hosting, you have no need to exchange link with a web site talking about the game. Google will put a negative score to your site for those unrelevant links.
  • Content is the king of a web site, no matter how many reciprocal links you have made, if you cannot provide a good content to your read, all your effort will result in nothing.

Alert - Google can help you build Links

One of the key components to any successful website is the number and quality of their inbound links.

There are many ways in which you can attract links to your site. Some good, some not so good!

One strategy that I have been using very successfully is to combine article writing with Google Alerts.

    Here's how it is done.

    Step One: Write some articles.

Start writing articles and ideally make sure they are related in some way to your business.

I suggest you prepare at least a couple of articles and I would avoid writing them in Microsoft Word. Try to use something like Notepad. I'll explain why in a minute.

When you have a couple of articles of about 400 to 700 words each, you should then submit them to the article submission sites.

Article submission sites are great for getting your articles distributed around the web. Not only do these sites send articles onto other article distribution networks, but lots of website owners come to these sites for content to put onto their own websites.

When you submit your article to one of the submission sites, you are allowed to add an "About the Author" paragraph to go with your article. It is here that you put a link back to your website using whatever keyword phrase you are trying to optimise on.

As you already have your article written you can simply cut and paste the article into the submission forms. I tend to have an "About the Author" paragraph already prepared to cut & paste as well.

Now the reason I suggested using Notepad for your articles is because when you copy from Word it tends to bring with it certain formatting issues and these can cause you article to be rejected by the submission sites. Notepad doesn't have this problem.

Step Two: Find out who's using your article.

By using Google Alerts you can set up alerts for each of your articles. I tend to use the article name is it's fairly unique. Otherwise try using a distinctive line from your article.

Whenever Google finds your article, it sends you an email with the web address of the site where it found it.

You can now check out this site. If you think it will give you good traffic or pass on good page rank, you can contact the website owner. As they already have one of your articles then they probably like your material so you can either offer more articles (with links of course!) or even point them to pages on your site that they should link to because the content would be of interest to their visitors.

So there you have it. One of my tips for building links back to your site.

By the way, you might just like to put your website name into Google Alerts as you'll be surprised how many alerts that can generate and you can also find many places mentioning your website.

    Why Submit to Directories?

Why should you even bother with directory submissions? They can be tedious and time-consuming, so it's no wonder that some webmasters don't like to use them. It's their loss, as they are missing out on a great source of free, keyword-targeted, relevant, backlinks.

Obviously, we all know that backlinks are the key to high search engine rankings. The problem then becomes how to get high-quality backlinks without spending too much of your money or time. This can be especially difficult if you are in a highly-competitive niche because you will need even more backlinks to compete.

This is where submissions to free web directories come in to play. There are already hundreds of quality, SEO-friendly directories out there, with even more new ones being created almost every day. Not only that, but there are several sites with comprehensive directory lists, allowing you to easily keep up with all the new additions.

In addition to giving you a large quantity of backlinks, directory submission also gives you greater control over the text of those links. The beauty of free web directories is that they give you complete control over the way your link is listed. You can choose your own keyword-rich anchor text, site description, and keyword set. By rotating different titles, you can easily optimize your link-building for several different keywords. Using your business name in the anchor text of your directory submissions will also help you build awareness for your brand.

As the search engines continue to crack down on paid links and link farms, directory submissions will become an even better alternative. Relevancy of the site giving the link is becoming a more important factor in determining the quality of that link. Well-categorized directories will give you a link surrounded by similar content related to your niche, which is usually better than the random page of links you get from FFA sites or link farms.

Directory submissions should only be part of a successful link-building strategy, of course. There is no one method that should be used to the exclusion of all others. When done as a part of a larger plan, directory links can give your site a much-needed initial boost and help you optimize for secondary keywords as well.

Top 5 Ways to Generate Website Traffic at a Low Cost

You need one thing to really generate income from your website: a steady traffic flow. If no one sees your site, you certainly aren't going to make any money there.

This has been proven over and over with websites that have failed to attract traffic. Be prepared to invest in your website it takes money to make money. Before you panic, it doesn't necessarily cost a lot to help generate traffic to your site.

Have you ever stopped to wonder what the big sites do to get traffic? The answer is most are spending a lot of money to attract that traffic, spreading it among various advertising campaigns and gimmicks. This is worth their while, because now they have websites that get a lot of traffic and they earn a lot of money.

But, not everyone has the same resources. There are many methods to generate low cost website traffic without having to mortgage your house. A lot of people have gambled on high cost methods and lost.

Here are the top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that have been proven to work. Even if you only increase your sales by a small amount, it still works if your traffic continues to grow.

    Exchange Links

This is a time-proven method to increase your traffic. It is rare to see a site where you have no links to other sites. Lots of webmasters are willing to exchange links because everyone benefits. Once you have link exchanges going on, you should notice an increase in your traffic.

Link exchanges should be with sites that are in the same niche you are. Since you have a common subject, your visitors are more likely to click through and explore the other site. This gives a continuity of service to the customers.

You'll get a boost in the search engine results for sharing links too. If you have a lot of inbound and outbound related links, it helps your rankings. Ranking high in the search engine results will help generate more traffic without costing you a bunch of money.

    Traffic Exchange

Similar to exchanging links, a traffic exchange works on a higher level. It may cost a bit more, but you earn credits, so it could become cheaper. You can use your credits when viewing the traffic of others, while you earn credits with others view your site.

Traffic exchange services are the viewing of someone else's site. When you set up a traffic exchange, when someone is viewing your site, a similar site is popping up beneath yours that your visitor will see when they close your page. When they visit someone else's site, yours pops up beneath the top window. This increases the awareness of your site.

    Write and Submit Articles

Many online encyclopedias and e-zines provide space for articles to be submitted on any topic. To save on costs, do the articles yourself. If you have the cash, there are many freelance writers or writing services available that can provide your articles for a fee. Which way you go depends on your budget and your writing skills.

Keep your articles to the niche of your site. Write about something you have expertise in, so when it is read, the reader can feel they can trust your knowledge and want to check out your site. Be sure to use a spell checker. Write articles that will give tips and guidelines pertaining to your niche market. Don't forget your resource box at the end of the article. Tell them a little about yourself and your site. Don't forget the link. If they like your article, there is a good chance they will check out your site.

    Make a Newsletter.

This may sound like a lot of work because of the number of articles it takes to build a newsletter, but in reality this is not true. Lots of writers and sites are willing to provide free articles for full credit. They get free advertising as well. As your newsletter grows, you can get more awareness of your site and build a list of potential customers at the same time.

    Join Online Communities and Forums

This costs only in time. Share your expertise on online communities. You'll get free advertising by taking part in communities that fit your niche. Share your opinions and they will begin to see you as a reputable person they can trust. They won't hesitate to buy from you in the future because they know and trust you.

Using Blogs To Develop Effective Link Building

One of the most effective techniques to build traffic and increase search engine ranking page results is through commenting in blogs. Commenting in blogs gets the most targeted traffic. You get traffic not only from the comment but also from the link on the blog. However, with Google following the "nofollow" tag to reduce spamming there is a decrease in commenting in blogs.

Even if Google does not index links with "nofollow" tags other search engines consider links even with "nofollow"tags. Hence it is proven that it does help commenting in blogs with "nofollow" tags. Today an increasing number of bloggers are removing "nofollow" tags from their blogsites. The main advantage to webmasters after removing nofollow tags is increased traffic stats and the advantage that blog commentators get is in the form of back link that is followed by search engines. So commenting in blogs is a good way to increase page rank and develop traffic on a long-term basis.

Tips to get great results using blogs Be a regular contributor to blogs so that the blog owner is prompted to visit your link often.

Most blogsites have a list of top five commentators, so if you are a regular contributor to the site then your name will appear in that list. If your name appears in the top five you can be assured of increased traffic.

Write useful and relevant comments usually it is recommended that you keep your comments short about two or three lines. As most blogs use spam filters to keep unwanted comments out, once you pass the spam filter your comment will start giving traffic.

The more relevant the comment the more traffic you get for your links.

Take the help of search engines to find new blogs especially "dofollow" blogs are useful as you can extract some value for the link from them.

There are some blogs on the Internet that are not very popular but have some of the top commentators. If you find such a blog, make it a point to write at least five to ten comments a month this will help you get a link in a homepage.

Choose the blogs you decide to write for carefully. If the blogsite you choose is related to your field you will get the most targeted traffic. Such traffic has a high conversion rate to actual sales.

It is important to have a healthy relationship with other bloggers. Bloggers involved in search marketing are more likely to have good relationship with someone from the same community rather than with someone who is a stock market blogger. Your level of knowledge about the industry you are in has a direct effect on other bloggers. You are more likely to be taken seriously if you demonstrate a high level of understanding of the industry or niche you are in.

You need to be honest, transparent, trustworthy, and treat fellow bloggers with respect. Treating other bloggers as competition is definitely not recommended.

1 Way Link Building And Seo

There are genuine ways to enhance your search engine rankings and build credibility in your chosen area of expertise or niche. Improved search engine rankings will generate leads for your business and get you and your business the recognition amongst the masses around the world. One such way to build credibility is called "Article Submission"

Article submission is not something you may be hearing for the first time, in fact it is a method that has been tested in the crucible of time. The only drawback article submission has is that it is a tedious process. The process involves finding article directories and completing all the criteria for submission. However, article submission is a powerful tool to increase search engine rankings.

You need to focus on this tried and tested principle of optimizing websites, while one more method that needs focus is getting high quality 1way links to your website. Your website rank is directly proportional to the number of quality 1way links pointing to your website. The more links you have the higher your page website is ranked by search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, and MSN. So irrespective of the fact that link building is tedious you cannot escape it and link building has to be done.

Although there are many tricks and tactics you can use for short term gain it is recommended that you avoid spending valuable time on such things and instead concentrate all your efforts on figuring out the best way get other websites link to your site without you having to link back to them. This is 1 way link building. 1 way links is the sure shot way to secure higher rank s in Google, Yahoo! And MSN.

This may sound easy but is quite a task. The first step is finding website directories and then begins the tedious process of submitting your website to them. However, the effort eventually pays, as you see your website rankings improve dramatically. You may choose to submit your articles directly to these directories manually or have someone do it for you, however, there are some charges involved.

Articles written should be unique and short about 500 words, also include your link along with an interesting description. The key is to provide useful content to the directories that will add value to their clients. Generally it is a good idea to write articles on topics that are your niche and include your name and your company name in it along with the URL. Also use appropriate keyword containing link text. Superior content is the best way to attract eyeballs. Another strategy you could use is to license content from your website in exchange for a link to your site.

Although article submission has been around for some time and many people associated with SEO are aware of it, it is still neglected due to the extraordinary time it consumes. However if done diligently it is the best way to build 1 way links.

Frustrating I know, I've been down that road before.

Successful Internet Marketing of your Online Affiliate Products is a pure numbers game....

Exposing your affiliate products to the largest number of qualified customers as possible.

    Notice I said 'qualified customers'.

Let us now examine what makes a 'qualified customer'.

A qualified customer is one who is in a 'buying mood' of the affiliate product you are promoting. Let's say a person goes into Google and searches on the phrase 'notebook'.

Then another person searches online for the part number of an HP Notebook 'RM346UT'. Which person do you think is in a buying mood?

The customer looking for the specific HP notebook RM346UT of course.

You will get much more traffic by bidding on the keyword 'notebook', of course these are not qualified customers and the competition is fierce!...

You will be paying high PPC (pay per clicks) because of the competition and you are not 'targeting' your marketing promotion...so you are wasting your money.

I'm gonna give away a HUGE Internet Marketing secret on how to get targeted-qualified customers to your affiliate products who are in a buying mood...and this secret will NOT cost you one red cent!...

You do NOT have to use Google's PPC with this secret method.

This secret starts with Online Article Marketing....but much more than just writing articles.

First you must do your keyword research and find your 'niche' phrases....these are the keyword phrases that get good traffic with low competition.

Go to http://wordtracker.com/ and take the free trial. Wordtracker is an incredible keyword research tool and by far the best I have seen to date.

Say the affiliate product you wanna promote is about the 'golf swing'. Simply type 'golf swing' into the wordtracker tool and it will spit out hundreds of related keyword phrases. You can then find out which related keywords have the highest KEI (keyword effectiveness index).

The higher the KEI on your related keywords, the better it is...you want a KEI of at least 25 or higher and you want your estimated daily traffic to be 50 hits or higher as a rule of thumb.

Wordtracker will give you all these stats...as I said, an incredible tool!

    These are your niche keywords.

Pick the keywords that fit the affiliate products you are promoting and indicate a 'buying mood' like the example of the notebook I gave above.

You then write your articles (or have them ghost written) around these niche keywords...one article for every keyword.

Then submit your articles to these 3 sites, for FREE:

    http://www.squidoo.com/

    http:www.goarticles.com/ http://digg.com/

Google and the other search engines totally love and rate these 3 sites high, and you have a great chance of getting listed on the first page of Google...which means tons of online traffic to your affiliate websites!

Then just duplicate this process...wash, rinse, and repeat!

Now just because you are getting qualified customers to your Online Affiliate Products doesn't mean you will make money...you must choose an Affiliate Marketing Program with a proven Internet Business and multiple automated income streams.

I don't believe in recreating the wheel...why not capitalize on the efforts of other people who have already been down the path of setting up the 'nuts and bolts' of a fully automated Internet Marketing Business?

Why not find a proven Internet Business with 6 easy automated income streams?

When you search for an Affiliate Marketing Program be careful because there are many scams out there. However, the information and opportunities listed on this site have passed an intensive screening process and have proven themselves to be legitimate and effective.

To help you choose the right Internet Business and make an intelligent choice, I know where you can get tons of free quality bonuses including a newsletter you sign up for and get hundreds of money making tips and tricks delivered to your inbox. A $147 value, yours FREE!

After you find a proven Affiliate Marketing Program, use the FREE 'Article Marketing' secret I gave you above to promote your affiliate products.

I have just given you an 'Internet Business in a box' along with the secret to promote your affiliate products...all you need to do is implement...

    What are you waiting for?

    To Your Success!

Tips On SEO - Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization is considered by many to be somewhat of an art form. Although it certainly can be taken to different levels that most of us are unable to achieve, basic SEO is relatively easy to grasp. As long as you have the basics down, you are able to rank for a surprising number of keywords and keyword phrases, most of which are simply up for grabs within the search engine results. After you have the basics down, however, learning some tips on SEO is going to help you to improve those rankings dramatically. Here are a few to get you started.
Get Those Links - Having links coming back in your website is a basic part of search engine optimization but it is also one of the tips on SEO that should simply not be overlooked. Unfortunately, many people give up on looking for links eventually because they find them too difficult to acquire. If you are having a difficult time getting fresh links back into your website, try doing a little bit of article marketing or perhaps commenting on blog posts that are directly related to your website. You would be surprised with how much of a boost these simple efforts will give you.
Vary Your Link Text - If you are using incoming links in order to boost your search engine optimization, and you really should be doing this, make sure that you vary the link text to a certain degree. Even if you are going after one major keyword or keyword phrase, if you have all of the incoming links say the same thing, it may be regarded by the search engines as being unnatural. There's nothing wrong with going for several different keyword phrases and varying those phrases whenever you get incoming links. You may actually rank for other keywords as a result.
Go Deep - Don't put all of your efforts into acquiring links directly to your main page. Getting a few links that are optimized for keyword phrases to pages that are deep within your website will not only help your website overall to rank well, it may help those pages rank for that specific keyword. Just remember, the more pages of yours that are accessed via the search engines, the more entry into your website you are going to acquire. Don't overlook the smaller pages on your website because an army of them can bring you in unbelievable traffic.
Use the Meta Tags Well - As far as tips on SEO are concerned, this is probably one that you are more likely to overlook. Meta tags have lost some of their power but there are still some that you should take the time to use. For example, when you use the meta description tag, the text that you use will actually show up in the search engine result pages in many cases, directly underneath the title. Not only can you use it for optimization purposes, you may be able to use the tag to make your link more inviting.
